In the late morning of January 15th, 2013, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje landed in Hong Kong for his third official visit.

Between December 27 and 31, 2012, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, as well as Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche, were invited to Hong Kong for a very special private event: the wedding ceremony of Mr Jason Fung and his bride Loretta. The couple and their families had wished for both the black-hat and the red-hat emanations of the Karmapa (also known as shamarnag) to be present for this grand day in their lives.
